Bethe Bonk, MA, LPC
Bethe is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6 years of experience working with adults, children and their families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Spanish from the University of La Crosse and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Lakelend College.
Bethe has worked as a professional counselor in an in-home setting for many years. She is able to work well with small children, adults, older adults, and families. Bethe uses experiential and client centered approaches when working with her clients. Bethe’s professional areas of interest and specialties include mindfulness, trauma informed care, child development, play therapy, attachment and parent-child relationships. Michael Hammer, PhD
Dr. Hammer is a licensed psychologist, who received his Masters of Science degree and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In addition to working full-time at a mental hospital since 1992, he has worked in private practice in Prairie du Sac for 22 years.
Dr. Hammer specializes in providing psychotherapy, particularly with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy to adults and couples. He has experience working with mental health issues in men, stress and anger management, couples counseling, mindfulness, sex offender treatment, and adult psychological testing. He has been a presenter to groups ranging from 5 to 400, in such areas as emotional intelligence, stress management, change management, and improving leadership skills (including team dynamics and development, managing conflict, process improvement, and systematic problem solving), at workshops and conferences.
Michael OrRico, PhD
Dr. OrRico is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. OrRico received his PhD from Purdue University and Indiana School of Medicine. He has extensive training and experience working with children and adults.
Dr. OrRico works with individuals who are age 10 years and older. He provides psychological testing for ADHD and other disorders in children and adults. He specializes in parenting, individual adult therapy for depression and anxiety, and marital counseling.
Kristen Vesbach MS. ATR-BC, LPC
Kristen received her Master’s Degree from Mount Mary University, Milwaukee. She has extensive professional practice as an art psychotherapist and professional counselor. Her experience includes working in outpatient, residential, and wilderness therapy settings. Kristen specializes in helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and trauma. She enjoys helping her clients overcome hurdles and rediscover strengths. Kristen is compassionate about helping her clients find hope and healing. She enjoys nature, is passionate about the arts, and loves spending time with her husband and twin daughters. Jim Williams, LCSW
Jim is a licensed clinical social worker. He received his Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois.
Jim typically sees clients from age 12 and up. He works with adults on communication, problem solving, and coping skills in stressful situations. Jim sees individuals, couples and families. The setting is often in the office, but also includes long term care facilities for geriatric clients. Jim will at times give clients “homework” assignments to help maximize their efforts. He is both present and future focused. Jim believes that plowing up the past repeatedly only maximizes past pain.
Jim is a veteran who served in Vietnam and spent time in a V.A. Hospital, which he believes has given him unique experience and insight about trauma and healing.
Beth Whittemore, MSW, LCSW, LMFT
Beth is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been working with teens, adults, couples and families for over 28 years. Beth received her Masters degree in Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis along with an additional 2 year post Master’s Family Therapy Certification.
Beth works with children (10 and up), teens, adults, couples and families. She specializes in treatment that addresses domestic violence as well as anger management and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has experience treating couples who are experiencing relationship issues, including same gender couples. She has helped hundreds of individuals overcome depression and anxiety, enhance parenting skills with blended families, improve self-esteem, and decrease stress.
Richard Zabriskie, MSW, LCSW, SAC
Richard is a licensed clinical social worker and substance abuse counselor. Rick received his Masters degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
Rick treats individuals who are 15 years of age and older. He is credentialed to provide follow-up assessments and treatment for individuals who have been charged with OWI’s. He also specializes in the treatment of clients charged with disorderly conduct/domestic related, anger management, depression, anxiety, marital discord, career issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Rick enjoys helping individuals find healthy strategies to cope with life stresses.
